Anti- Bullying

Please help??

Are you being bullied?  Know someone who is?

There is help available for you if you need it, do not feel that you have to deal with this on your own. You can talk to any adult or ask a friend to help you report it if you are afraid to talk on your own.  There is also the anti-bullying helpdesk if you would prefer to email about your situation.  Remember if you do not tell someone about your worries there is nobody to support you with it.

Whilst it is being investigated - avoid the bully, be with other people, and do not try to deal with it using violence.

You can help others by - listening, being a friend and mediator if possible, and by reporting it.

Remember it is not your fault, it’s not banter if you feel upset or uncomfortable by the comments or actions.

Some of our pupils attended the Anti-Bullying Ambassador programme which is part of the charity the Diana Award.  The programme offers resources and training to schools and youth organisations in England, after receiving the training pupils are now Anti-Bullying Ambassadors in The Nuneaton Academy. In their role they are helping to support and educate their peers on bullying, lead on anti-bullying campaigns, promote a culture which celebrates and tolerates difference and support any pupils who have concerns.
